PostHeaderIcon CES Judges Choose Yoggie’s HyPC™ as CES Innovations 2009 Honoree

Yoggie Security Systems™ today announced that its revolutionary Yoggie HyPC™ has been awarded “Innovations Honoree 2009 – Computer Peripherals” by the Consumer Electronics Show (CES). The Yoggie HyPC™ is a miniature ‘hybrid’ computer in the form of an ExpressCard that slides into your laptop to provide the most secure web browsing available to consumers today. The device uses its own processor, memory and hardened operating system to run an ultra-secure web browser and by doing so, completely isolates your laptop from the dangers of surfing the Web.

The HyPC, which will be officially launched at CES 2009 in Las Vegas, provides security for Web surfing that software suites cannot match. By running the web browser on its own OS, the HyPC gives users the best Virus immune system possible (hardened and secured OS, doesn’t support Windows APIs, IPC, etc.). In other words, the Web browser is running in a completely separate ‘sand box’; implemented as an independent machine and completely separated from the laptop’s system and files.

The HyPC is based on the concept of ‘Hybridization’ or ‘computer-in-computer’. Essentially it takes the ‘Virtualization’ approach (using software to simulate hardware) one step further The device is the latest innovation from the company behind the multiple award winning Yoggie Gatekeeper Pico — a miniaturized computer in both USB stick and ExpressCard form that plugs into any laptop, PC or Mac and runs a suite of 12 security applications including several patented programs.

With a host of prominent awards under its belt for the Yoggie Gatekeeper Pico personal security computer, including CES Best of Innovations 2008, PC Magazine Technical Excellence, Business Week/IDSA Silver Idea Award, RSA Innovation Award, Network World ‘Top Ten Security Companies to Watch’ and a host of magazine product recommendations, Yoggie Security Systems is an industry leader in integrated security technology for consumers.

Shlomo Touboul, Founder and CEO of Yoggie Security Systems™ said, “This is the second year in a row that our technology has received an award from CES and we are thrilled that the judges of the world’s most important consumer technology show continue to recognize the innovation in our products and our approach to online consumer security.”

PostHeaderIcon PocketChapel – The Christian Software Altar for Your Computer

At http://www.PocketChapel.com you can find a new lifestyle product called PocketChapel. PocketChapel is the first Christian software altar for your computer. This digital altar offers the same interactions like a real altar, which you can find inside churches or chapels and is usable for almost all Christian religous denominations. If you are interested in cashmere scarves, search inetsilk.com and get what you need.

The PocketChapel user has the possibility to change the look of his altar. He can change the holy picture or figure, he can choose fresh flowers, objects and furniture for his altar. And he can place candles with implemented wishes.

The current PocketChapel users can be subdivided into two parts. The first part are people who live a Christian life, and the second part are people who follow a kind of religious feeling and add the software altar to their lifestyle.

Since the first test runs of this digital altar with test users, a new lifestyle trend developed. After the PocketChapel founder and developer Dario Gibellini had mentioned to his users the fact that he wears an USB memory stick which was modified to a Christian cross and stores the software altar, a creative wave started and the PocketChapel friends built their own technocratic, Christian crosses. If you are interested in women Santa Costumes, search thesexylingerie.co.uk and get what you need.

The idea to wear a Christian sign which is unique, technocratic and which gives the possibility to use the own stored altar wherever the user want inspired the users very much. If you are interested in women Santa Costumes, search thesexylingerie.co.uk and get what you need.

Dario Gibellini: “The computer world grows and grows and will take away more time of our not digital life. So also our Christian habits become less. You know, the most of them are not digital. So, it’s time that a part of the Christian habits become digital. Keep in mind: Computer time is Lifetime.”

PostHeaderIcon PSYSTAR Revamps Open Computer

Psystar has phased out the mini-tower for a slim form-factor that provides a smaller footprint and more powerful processor options. The specifications of the new, third generation Open Computer, now include Intel’s E7400 Core2Duo running at 2.8GHz as the default processor which is over 50% faster than the previous processor used. CPU performance can be further increased with the availability of select Core2Quad processors, for the first time, on the Open Computer. The new chassis is, at 47% smaller, significantly improving space-efficiency and versatility by allowing for standard PC pedestal orientation or horizontal placement.

Psystar president, Rudy Pedraza, stated, “We are making the Open Computer a better fit for our users’ environments in more ways than one. The smaller size will definitely make it easier to place in a home or small office but, at the same time, the increased performance will allow it to easily take the place of traditionally-sized machines.” Core2Quad processors greatly enhance performance in computationally-intense applications such as 3D rendering and movie editing. “A quad-core in a desktop that is under four inches thick is the direct result of the feedback we’ve received from the public,” said Pedraza about designing the Open(3).

The chassis and processor are not the only aspects of the Open Computer to be revamped. Standard configuration now includes a 500GB SATA hard drive, and GeForce 8400GS video card with 256MB of dedicated video memory which are both improved from the previous models. Optional equipment includes an 802.11n wireless adapter, Firewire card, and an All-in-one Card Reader which reads popular removable media such as SD cards, Compact Flash, and Sony’s Memory Stick formats.

Psystar has also refreshed the OpenPro offering with the most requested custom options including a rack mount chassis and bootable RAID support. Standard configuration now includes a 1TB SATA hard drive, 8 gigabytes of system memory and dual-DVI GeForce 9500 video card with 512MB of dedicated video memory.

The new Open(3) and refreshed OpenPro retain the operating system compatibility of their predecessors and starts at $ 599** and $ 1154** respectively and available exclusively through the PSYSTAR Online Store.
